World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.

They also offer bonus effects and improvements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button is available on any item. Every item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.

Weapon

When a weapon is upgraded, it gains a base damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional attributes. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools, and they generally require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, the item can be upgraded with a different one but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). upgrade items components can be retrieved by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool on an Best item upgrader.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon level.

Once the weapon has reached max upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects are based on the nature of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.

In general, it's advisable to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and, finally those secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of specific pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as quest rewards.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade items. This is the case for most types of armor, however some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by just a little. Certain upgrade components, however could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is particularly true when upgrading epic items.

In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also give special abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can prove beneficial in combat. For instance they can boost attack speed or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, reducing damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item could require several tries. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor with the base defense of 67-77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

The potion also has an individual color code, which the player can choose via /give, and that affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a different the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. The potions are lingering and can be brewed with splash potions or dragon breath and a strong potion with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Trinket

A trinket is a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag to identify a boat's lateen yard. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is connected to the mast of a vessel.

At its current level the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives each floor an X% chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require an amount of energy.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of generating grass and water. At its current level this trinket makes X% of regular floors filled with grass or water, but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to help solve hazard rooms.

This item, which looks like a eyes of a nymph appears to alter your vision in a way that goes beyond simply narrowing your field of vision. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and grants mind eyesight on enemies within Y tiles. This trinket is not stacked with the Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

If you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded, place it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as many times as you want but it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.

You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
