WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapons. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will display an item's preview when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current item level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an Item Level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Upgraders for items can be found at many locations, including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and a possibility of obtaining an entirely new recipe. Crests

Another significant change is that crests have one usage, so it's important to make use of them in a responsible manner. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
