What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

A transparent device that can make certain Pokemon species evolve. It was developed by Silph Co.

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash upgrade items Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to view and purchase upgrades.

Boosts

The number of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you get. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by a maximum of 3 points. In addition, each upgrade will also increase the main stat by +1.

Some upgrades also provide additional random boosts in addition to stat increases. These boosts can be useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding what items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are useful in specific builds (such as Whistan's shield in FB sorcs) while others can provide significant value to certain collectors.

Certain items come with inherent boo, which is not useful when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which gives additional slots for potion. These are often upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades have some associated costs. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. This cost depends on the new ilvl of the item and the amount of perks it gains and can be costly. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.

The second is the price of the items required to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable through completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The quantity of these items required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

The process of upgrading an item is a complex process that takes time. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take up to 8 hours. The upgraded item level upgrade's base stats are calculated based on the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In certain cases the upgrade can grant additional benefits that can be chosen from a list of available perks.

Rarely, the perks obtained will cost more than one perk slot to acquire In these instances, the upgrade will only replace the perks with the highest cost. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, for example, changing its weapon damage type or removing or adding an unwieldy or operational property. The cost of these changes is determined by the item upgrade's current ilvl and it could require a special material, such as the adamantine alloy.

Success Rate

The upgrade of an item is dependent on the chance. Like any random system, there is a possibility that it will not succeed. There are a few methods to increase your odds of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional materials to your upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is an item that you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade succeeding by a certain percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus some items have, but is more stable. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a number of additional items to the upgrade, increasing the chance of success. These are shown in a separate window, above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is displayed right above the + button in the user interface.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it can be used to boost the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item is useful when you own a weapon or piece of equipment that has reached the highest level for its tier, or is close to it. It allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without risking breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its original state. This is often a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you reach the maximum level for an item.

Kafra offers a variety of items that can be used in order to increase the chance of an upgrade succeeding. For instance, upgrading a piece of equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you a higher chance of success. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will increase the chance of success.

Failure Rate

The item upgrader allows players to add an additional slot on their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment to an item. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rate of upgrade and enchantment is based on the item's rank. The higher the rank, the more zen and items you'll require to upgrade it.

The system is expensive especially if you're seeking top-of-the-line equipment. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost as much as 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. As you rise in rank, your chances of success diminish. You can increase the chances of upgrading an item by using cash shop items.

Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be carried out on armor pieces, weapons and bikes. It employs different grades of cores based on the type of Best item upgrader. In general, lower-grade items require cheaper cores while higher grade ones require more expensive cores.

To perform an ordinary upgrade it is necessary to first have the appropriate number of cores. Once you have them click the button next to the item you wish to upgrade. The upgrade window will then display a percent indication of your chance of success. This percentage is based on the level of upgrade for the item and the type you have selected.

You can also select an item that is protected by a safeguard your equipment in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will vary however it will always be less than the cost of purchasing a new item. The protection can only be used only once per upgrade and will not expire until it is used again.

The UI for the item upgrader may be somewhat confusing, but it is not impossible to navigate. The main menu is located on the left and the upgrade window is on the right.
