WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon or armor. The button will display the preview of an item's next level of upgrade, in the event that there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers.
